3 Ingredient Fruit Dip
This fruit dip is an easy to make recipe with only 3 ingredients. A light and fluffy dip for all fruits of any season, this is perfect for parties, snack time, and more.
How long do recipes stay in your family? This one comes out of a cookbook that is older than me but it stands the test of time for being so easy and so dang delicious! This fruit dip is perfect for summer BBQs and snack time alike in that it takes only 5 minutes to make and lasts for a week in the fridge.
That is, if you can keep from eating it all for that long!

How to Make 3 Ingredient Fruit Dip
What I love best about this recipe is how easy it is to make with ingredients you (probably) already have in your house. Combine cream cheese (non-dairy works perfectly as well!!) and a bit of marshmallow fluff. Whip it together in a stand mixer for 5 minutes and thin with a little bit of milk. Done!
The cream cheese gives it body and tang, the marshmallow fluff the lightness, and the milk helps to bring it to the perfect dipping consistency.
Allergy Variations for Fruit Dip
If you are allergic to milk/dairy, swap out the cream cheese for your non-dairy alternative. I’ve made this with a soy based cream cheese before and it still tastes wonderful!
Have an egg allergy and can’t use marshmallow fluff? Melt vegan marshmallows in the microwave for 30 seconds and use the recipe as written. My favorite egg free brand is Dandies, but you might have another!

Fruit Dip Variations
Because sometimes we don’t have things in the house and sometimes we like to spice things up!
Yogurt Fruit Dip – Replace the cream cheese with equal amount of vanilla yogurt.
Sour Cream Fruit Dip – Swap out the cream cheese with the same amount of sour cream.
Chocolate Fruit Dip – Make as directed but also mix in 3 tablespoons of melted chocolate. Give it a final mix in the mixer and yum!
Fruit Flavored Fruit Dip – Take a spoonful of your favorite jam or preserves and swirl into the mix. The photos in this post have been made with strawberry jam.
Cool Whip Fruit Dip – Replace the cream cheese with cool whip (dairy or non-dairy) and combine with marshmallow fluff. This results in the lightest and fluffiest dip you have ever seen!!
